YOU are EVERYTHING, Miley.
Miley Cyrus’ 2019 takeover is in full force and she’s ready to be her most authentic self yet. The twenty-six year old icon stunned the August issue of ELLE USA wearing a variety of different looks, which include some her own personal earrings, necklaces, and bracelets.
Speaking to the magazine exclusively on her three EP’s (‘She Is Coming,’ ‘She Is Here,’ and ‘She Is Everything‘) which will form her upcoming album, ‘She Is Miley Cyrus,’ Miley also opened up about the inspiration behind her new material, her marriage to Liam Hemsworth, having children, the society we live in today, and much more; she isn’t holding back.
“My record is called She Is Miley Cyrus. ‘She’ does not represent a gender. She is not just a woman. ‘She’ doesn’t refer to a vagina. She is a force of nature. She is power,” Miley says about the new album. “She can be anything you want to be, therefore, she is everything. She is the super she. She is the she-ro. She is the She-E-O.”
Revealing that she isn’t planning on bringing a child into the world just yet due to what’s happening with our earth, Miley says she “refuses to hand that down to my child. Until I feel like my kid would live on an earth with fish in the water, I’m not bringing in another person to deal with that.”
The singer also gave a very candid insight into her marriage with her husband, Liam, and really reminded the world that it’s okay to not fit society’s normal “wife and husband” labels. “I’m in a hetero relationship, but I still am very sexually attracted to women,” she says. She continued, “I made a partner decision. This is the person I feel has my back the most. I definitely don’t fit into a stereotypical wife role. I don’t even like that word.”
It’s incredibly rewarding getting to have a person like my girl, Miley, continuously speak her truth and show that not everyone should be shunned for being who or what they are. The world needs more people like Miley, and hopefully with her educational remarks and statements like these, we can get those people.
