John Summit is taking his shows to another level.
The DJ and producer officially kicked off his highly anticipated CTRL ESCAPE TOUR last night with an incredible opening show at Centre Bell in Montreal, Canada!
And if night one is any indication of what’s to come, fans are in for something seriously special.
The tour marks a major milestone for Summit as he brings his music to some of the biggest arenas across North America, with stops in Boston, Miami, Chicago, Brooklyn and plenty more!
A BIG RISK THAT’S ALREADY PAYING OFF!
Following the opening show, John took to social media to reflect on what it meant to finally bring the tour to life.
“It was unreal to see this show we’ve been working on for months fully come to life,” he shared.
John also admitted that taking on a full arena tour as a DJ felt like a big risk, especially not knowing how audiences would respond.
But after seeing the reaction in Montreal, he said the night completely exceeded his expectations.
And honestly, there’s something pretty incredible about watching an artist take a chance on something this big and seeing it come together!
THE STAGE PRODUCTION?! YOU NEED TO SEE IT!
One of the most exciting parts of the CTRL ESCAPE TOUR might just be the production itself.
Without giving too much away, let’s just say Summit and his team have put together a show that goes far beyond your typical DJ setup.
From the stage design to the overall arena experience, this is one of those shows that deserves to be experienced in person.
And as if the opening night wasn’t exciting enough, ALOK joined Summit onstage for their new track, “Weekend Warriors”!
Not a bad way to kick off an arena tour!
NEXT STOP: HAMILTON, TORONTO AND BEYOND!
Following Montreal, John heads to TD Coliseum in Hamilton tonight, October 24, before taking over Scotiabank Arena in Toronto on Sunday, October 25.
He’ll then bring the show to TD Garden in Boston on October 29, followed by more arena dates across the United States.
Other major stops include Washington, D.C., Houston, Atlanta, Miami, Chicago, Brooklyn and Los Angeles, where the North American run concludes on December 12 at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.
And the party doesn’t stop there! The CTRL ESCAPE TOUR heads to Europe in February 2027, kicking off February 11 in Warsaw, Poland, before visiting Brussels, Amsterdam, Berlin, Cologne, Zurich and Paris. The European leg wraps up on February 27 at London’s iconic O2 Arena.
From taking a risk on an ambitious new production to bringing electronic music into some of the world’s biggest venues, this is an exciting new chapter for John Summit.
Congratulations to John and the entire team on an incredible opening night! Now, who’s ready to CTRL ESCAPE?! 🔥
