The Pussycat Dolls are kicking off the celebration for the 20th anniversary of the PCD era, and the new cover for PCD Forever Deluxe Edition is here to set the tone. The project arrives tomorrow alongside a re-release of Doll Domination, giving fans a fresh reason to revisit two of the group’s defining albums and the era that made them global pop mainstays.
Originally released in 2005, PCD was the breakout that turned The Pussycat Dolls into a full-blown phenomenon. The album went on to sell more than 9 million copies worldwide, peaked at No. 5 on the Billboard 200, and launched a string of hits that helped define the sound of mid-2000s pop. It also earned a Grammy nomination for “Stickwitu,” cementing the group’s crossover success and giving the era even more staying power.
Their follow-up, Doll Domination from 2008, marked the group’s second and final studio album and debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard 200, their highest-charting album on the U.S. chart. It delivered some of their biggest late-era moments, including “When I Grow Up,” “I Hate This Part,” and the massive international smash “Jai Ho! (You Are My Destiny),” making it an essential part of the Dolls’ catalog and a fan favorite for good reason.
Fans can preorder PCD on CD and vinyl, along with Doll Domination on CD and vinyl, now. With the new cover unveiled and both albums getting their moment again, the PCD Forever rollout is feeling like a proper celebration of the music, the memories, and the legacy.
