NEW YORK, CROWN YOUR KING: LUKE ALEXANDER IS ONE VOTE AWAY FROM BEST DJ OF NYC

Luke Alexander didn’t just come up in the New York club scene, he fought for it.

From sneaking into clubs as a 17-year-old to now headlining the city’s biggest rooms and rooftop parties, he’s spent over a decade proving he belongs behind the decks. And right now, he’s one vote away from claiming the ultimate hometown title: Best DJ of NYC at the EDMAs.

“I started off as a NYC club DJ in 2015 and have busted my dick every single weekend to be where I am today,” Luke said in an Instagram story, recalling how he was often dismissed by other New York DJs early on for sticking to his EDM sound in a hip-hop–dominated era. “So this title means extra to me.”

That grind has paid off. Today, Luke is a staple of the city’s nightlife, from sold-out club sets to his own Azure Day Party, now expanded across multiple cities. He’s played major shows, supported global headliners, and built a reputation for high-energy performances that keep crowds locked in from open to close.

Right now, he’s in the Final 6 and tied for first in the fan vote for New York’s Favorite Club DJ. This is the final stretch, and every vote counts. If you’ve ever felt that rush when the bass drops in a packed room, or watched him turn a rooftop into a full-blown rave, now’s the time to show up for him.

“It truly would mean the world to me, my family, my team, and to the young 17-year-old kid who was sneaking into clubs to DJ,” he said. “No matter where in the world you’ve seen me play, my New York club days will always be an important role in every set.”

New York made him; now it’s time to crown him. Voting is open, and this is your last chance to help bring an EDMA home to our mans Luke!
