Mod Sun is back with a brand-new chapter, and it starts with “Mirror,” out now via Big Loud Rock. The track feels like a reset in real time, with Mod leaning into self-reflection, growth, and the kind of hard-earned clarity that comes from stepping away, slowing down, and rebuilding from the inside out.

Ahead of the release, Mod shared just how much this song means to him, writing, “Disappeared for a year. Stayed quiet. Worked on myself. Saved money. Stayed in the gym. Talked to God. Moved out of LA + regulated my nervous system,” before adding, “Peace comes when you give back to yourself. This is what I came up with. It’s YOUR song now.” It’s one of those rollout moments that makes the music hit even harder because you can feel the life behind it.

He also spoke about where he’s at creatively right now, saying, “I love this song. I love where my energy is. I love the way it looks. I love how connected I feel to yall. It’s all just better than I could’ve imagined. “Mirror” is the start of a whole new chapter.” That lines up with the song itself, which centers on self-awareness and the disconnect between how we see ourselves and how others see us.

And Mod isn’t slowing down! This summer, he’ll join MGK on the Lost Americana Tour across the U.S., kicking off June 16th at Pine Knob Music Theatre in Clarkston, MI. Check out the dates he’ll be at here.

Mod will be playing a free 21+ show at Alex’s Bar in Long Beach, CA, on Monday, May 11th, with doors opening at 8 PM to celebrate the release. All you have to do is RSVP here! With a new song out now and a major tour run ahead, “Mirror” feels like the start of a very solid new era for him.
