Sending Love and Prayers To The Spears Family

There’s no limits to what the power of love and prayer can do.

Over the weekend Britney Spears took to her social media to announce some beyond heartbreaking news about her father. In an official statement in regards to cancelling her Las Vegas residency show and breaking the news about her father, Jamie Spears, Britney said; “A couple of months ago, my father was hospitalized and almost died. We’re all so grateful that he came out of it alive, but he still has a long road ahead of him.”

She continued, ” I had to make the difficult decision to put my full focus and energy on my family at this time. I hope you all can understand.” Britney closed the statement with “I appreciate your prayers and support for my family during this time. Thank you, and love you all… always.”

There really aren’t any words to describe how heartbreaking it is to see or hear heartbreaking things like this that happen to so many in the world, let alone someone you care most about. I want to send all the love, light, and prayer in the world in the Spears’ family direction and wish nothing but a speedy and healthy recovery for Jamie Spears.

It might not make sense to people who don’t understand the love so many have for Britney, but as one fan put it; “they are like an extended-extended family who has been apart of our lives for almost two full decades.” That couldn’t be anything but more of the truth and I hope and pray that Britney and her family know how much we are all rooting for them during this saddening time.
