Camila Cabello is serving looks on the cover of Cosmopolitan‘s July 2018 issue, but she’s bringing even more to the table with her Rolling Stone July 2018 cover too!
Camila is giving one of her most revealing interviews yet. Opening up about her departure from Fifth Harmony, heartache, writing music at sixteen years old, and how Taylor Swift helped her through a breakup, the singer isn’t holding back.
Speaking about meeting her gal pal Taylor Swift and how she helped her through a breakup, Camila said “She sent me a breakup playlist and said, ‘Come over. Let’s talk about it. It was, like, a girls-night thing.” She then went into detail about her iconic single “Havana,” and how nobody wanted it to be a single.
C reveals “Nobody wanted to make it a single. They said that radio would never play it, that it was too slow, too chill….It just taught me a huge lesson: Screw whatever’s ‘going to work’ – you just have to go with the thing that you feel is the most you.” It’s great to see how confident and comfortable Camila is in her own skin now, she’s such a great woman.
