Charli xcx is expanding the MUSIC, FASHION, FILM experience yet again!
The pop star has released a special “Cinema Version” of the album on iTunes, pairing the standard 11-track record with the full Cinema Listening Events film that premiered in select theaters earlier this month.
The digital release gives fans a chance to own the complete audiovisual package at home, blending the album with its companion film in one seamless package.
The drop comes as Charli heads into one of the biggest weekends of her career. She’s currently in rehearsal for Lollapalooza, where she’ll headline the festival in Chicago this Friday, July 31st.
The set is expected to pull from MUSIC, FASHION, FILM alongside fan favorites, capping off a massive rollout that’s included multiple editions, B-sides, and now this cinema-focused version.
In other iconic news, Charli’s influence is being cemented beyond music. A portrait of the singer, shot by photographer Harley Weir during the Brat era, is now on display at the National Portrait Gallery in London.
The image lives in the History Makers space, which “celebrates figures who have shaped contemporary culture and public life,” placing Charli alongside some of the most significant cultural icons of our time.
