The countdown is officially on! The highly anticipated Baywatch reboot is set to premiere on Fox in January 2027, bringing daring ocean rescues, pristine beaches, and those iconic red bathing suits back to the small screen with a whole new generation of lifeguards.

The 12-episode series is already in production, and the cast has been locked in for what promises to be one of the biggest TV returns of the year.

Noah Beck stars as Luke, a rookie lifeguard and the youngest member of a firefighter family who chose the beach over the firehouse. Described as a charming Southern California surfer and flirt, Luke is also a top-tier lifeguard who looks up to Hobie Buchannon (Stephen Amell) as a mentor.

The role marks another major step for Noah, who transitioned from social media fame to serving as creative director for the apparel and basics brand Sown Again to while being apart of projects like the Sidelined franchise.

The ensemble also includes Jessica Belkin, Hassie Harrison, Shay Mitchell, Thaddeus LaGrone, Brooks Nader, and Livvy Dunne in her acting debut as Grace. Original cast members are returning too, with David Chokachi reprising his role as Cody Madison and appearances from Erika Eleniak, Mary McDonnell, Michael Bergin, and Kelly Packard.

Matt Nix (Burn Notice, True Lies) serves as showrunner and executive producer alongside McG (The O.C., Charlie’s Angels), with original creators Michael Berk, Greg Bonann, and Doug Schwartz also on board. The official description frames the reboot as an action-packed story about family, both the one you’re born into and the one you find on the beach.

A first teaser dropped in May, confirming the January 2027 premiere, and a new look at the cast in their red suits has fans even more hyped. With only a few months to go, Baywatch is gearing up to prove the legacy still runs deep!
