Nobody wears their heart on their sleeve quite like Benson Boone. The singer-songwriter released his latest single, “The Time of My Life,” this evening, delivering another emotional anthem about the pain of trying to move on from a relationship when all you really want is for that person to still be by your side for the ride.

If there’s one thing Benson has mastered, it’s turning heartbreak into something beautiful. “The Time of My Life” is tender, vulnerable, and packed with the kind of emotion that’s made him one of pop’s fastest-rising stars.

Accompanying the release is a brand-new music video, co-directed by Boone himself alongside longtime collaborator Matt Eastin. The video stars Benson opposite Alix Earle, with the pair portraying performers in a theatrical play.

Throughout the video, Boone can’t seem to shake thoughts of his former love, adding another emotional layer to an already poignant song. The theatrical setting gives the video an almost dreamlike quality, emphasizing the feeling of replaying old memories and wondering what could have been.

And honestly? That’s where Benson shines. He’s never been afraid to be vulnerable or let listeners into the messier parts of love and heartbreak. It’s that authenticity that has helped him build such a devoted fanbase over the past few years. But the excitement surrounding “The Time of My Life” doesn’t end with the song’s release.

Next month, Benson will officially kick off his Wanted Man Tour, beginning July 7th in Pittsburgh before making stops in Brooklyn, Newark, Boston, Albany, Cincinnati, Indianapolis, Milwaukee, Tulsa, Denver, and more before wrapping up in Casper, WY on September 3rd, giving fans plenty of opportunities to see his newest show live.

Between a new single and a nationwide tour, it’s safe to say Benson Boone is having quite the year. And if “The Time of My Life” is any indication, he’s only getting started.
