Selena Gomez has a special way of making her fans feel seen and celebrated, and she did exactly that yesterday, January 14th in New York City.
Just days after releasing her highly anticipated album RARE on January 10th via Interscope Records, Selena hosted an unforgettable experiential fan meet-and-greet and album release party at the Puma Flagship Store on 5th Avenue.
The event was the perfect celebration of her new chapter. The standard edition of RARE features 13 tracks, including the powerful hit singles “Lose You to Love Me” and “Look at Her Now,” and fans got to experience the album’s vibe in the most stylish way possible. While at the store, VIP guests and lucky fans got to meet Selena in person and even had exclusive Puma apparel customized on-site with live artwork painted right there.
I was beyond excited to be there and meet Selena again. We recreated the same meet-and-greet pose we did back in 2016 during her Revival Tour at Mohegan Sun Arena, full circle moment! She was as warm, kind, and genuine as ever, taking time to chat and making the experience feel really special.
The energy throughout the flagship store was electric. Music from RARE played, fans were buzzing with excitement, and the entire night felt like a true celebration of her growth as an artist and the strong connection she has with her supporters. Selena continues to prove she’s not just a global superstar; she’s someone who truly values and appreciates her fans.
From the Revival Tour to the RARE era, getting these moments with Selena over the years has been incredibly special. Nights like this remind me why she’s one of my favorite artists.
