Cameron Dallas has shared his first ever live performance video, and it’s everything you could want and more. Posting the video to Instagram and YouTube, “Love you all, thank you for sticking with me. Here’s my first ever Live Video – Running from the Rain,” Cameron said.
The twenty-five-year-old has had quite the year, but that’s not stopping him from creating art and sharing his story, which he hopes can help others. Earlier last month, Cam took to social media to share an emotional, yet beyond inspiring video and note to fans, that revealed he had been in rehab for the past two and a half years.
“I have been in rehab, and I’ve been getting help dealing with addiction, anxiety, depression and a bunch of other things, family trauma,” he said. “I want to stay on this path and I want to be an advocate. I want to help others and spread awareness to people, to give them an opportunity to get help, and I’m really excited, I’m really stoked. I’m still new to this, and I hope that you guys want to help me spread awareness and if anyone needs help, please reach out.”
It’s incredible to see such a kind soul want to use their platform to help others, all while helping themselves. While Cameron is still on the road to recovery, his openness alone will help (and already most likely has) millions that don’t know how to handle these kinds of struggles.
