It’s an XCX World and we’re lucky to have this girl speak up!

Charli XCX just released her highly anticipated album, ‘Charli,’ and has been doing loads of press for the celebration of the new record finally dropping. The twenty-seven-year-old pop hit maker has been known to get candid regarding mental health before, but she just revealed even more when on Apple Music’s Beats 1 Radio Show with Julie Adenuga.

“I’m not anti-therapy at all. I’ve never been anti it, I think it’s brilliant and great and I think everybody should have it because it’s like going to the doctors. It’s like you go for a physical checkup and so you should do the same for your mental health,” Charli said.

She continued, “I think there’s also a thought that only really rich people can get a therapist and I don’t think that’s the case. I’ve never done it before, just because it’s felt a bit alien to me, but I’ve never been anti it, I think I’ve just been nervous. Now I’m like, ‘Okay, I think I really want to do that.’”

It’s great to see someone with such a big following, and powerful platform, to speak on things like this. Charli has constantly used her platform for good and continues to inspire, and speak, on things that matter… so thank you Charli; you are an angel.
