Camila Cabella will be the new ‘Cinderella‘ for the upcoming remake of the Disney classic according to THR. Inspired by the ideas of James Corden, who will also produce the film with Leo Pearlman, this will be the singers first feature acting role!
THR also reports that Camila will be involved musically with the films director, Kay Cannon, as well. While a plot and release date are under extreme tight wrapped info right now, “a modern re-imagining of the traditional story,” with “a musical bent thrown in for good measure,” according to multiple outlets.
