Matt Rife is coming back to Rhode Island, and this time, it’s for a pretty special reason!
The comedic icon will be returning to The VETS in Providence on Friday, December 11, 2026, for his annual Holiday Toy Drive Show, bringing together a night of laughter, holiday spirit and giving back to children in the community.
And honestly, we LOVE seeing events like this!
Matt has spent the past few years selling out venues around the world, releasing Netflix specials and becoming one of the biggest names in comedy. But it’s especially nice to see him continuing a tradition that makes a difference beyond the stage.
LAUGHS FOR A GOOD CAUSE!
The concept is simple: come enjoy a night of comedy and, if you’re able, bring a new, unopened toy to donate to a local child this holiday season.
Donation bins will be available in the theater lobby before the show, giving attendees an opportunity to help make the holidays a little brighter for families in the area.
The annual event has become a popular tradition, combining Matt’s signature stand-up, crowd work and storytelling with a cause that brings the community together.
And with the holidays right around the corner, what better way to spend an evening than laughing while helping someone else?
For anyone who’s seen Matt perform live, you already know that his shows are filled with unexpected moments, hilarious audience interactions and plenty of laughs. Add a little holiday magic to the mix, and this should be a pretty memorable night!
