XO DIVA D IS BACK! LET’S TALK MENTAL HEALTH, SELF-WORTH & STARTING OVER

Well, it’s FINALLY happening! After more than a year away from the microphone, I’m so excited (and honestly a little nervous) to officially welcome you guys back for Season 2 of my podcast, XO Diva D!

I’ve been talking about bringing the podcast back for what feels like forever, and while I had so many exciting ideas and plans for this season, actually sitting down and recording was a lot harder than I expected.

If you’ve followed me for a while, you probably know that mental health has always been one of the most important parts of my platform. I’ve never wanted XO Diva D to be just another place to read about celebrities or what’s happening in pop culture. I want it to be somewhere people can laugh, feel inspired, and most importantly, feel a little less alone.

And lately, I’ve needed that reminder myself.

The past few months haven’t been the easiest for me mentally. Between anxiety, seasonal depression, questioning where I’m at in life, and putting so much pressure on myself to succeed, I’ve found myself getting overwhelmed by things that once brought me so much happiness.

I think one of the hardest things about struggling with your mental health is that life doesn’t just stop while you’re trying to figure everything out. You still have responsibilities, goals, dreams, and people expecting things from you, even when you’re having a hard time just getting through the day.

And sometimes, the people you hope will support you the most aren’t always the people who show up. That’s something I’ve struggled with, especially when it comes to putting myself out there and pursuing something I genuinely love.

But I’m learning that I can’t keep putting my dreams on hold while waiting for everything in my life to feel perfect.

For the Season 2 premiere, I decided to do something a little different and record a solo episode called “A Work in Progress: Mental Health, Self-Worth & Starting Over.”

I’m opening up about anxiety, seasonal depression, loneliness, self-doubt, and the pressure of constantly comparing yourself to other people. I also talk about some of my experiences with mental health treatment, including a mirror exercise I did back in 2020 that really challenged the way I looked at myself.

It’s not necessarily an easy conversation, but it’s one I’ve wanted to have for a long time.

I also touch on how much music and pop culture have helped me through some of the hardest moments of my life. I know that might sound silly to some people, but sometimes a song, an artist, or even a favorite TV show can give you something to look forward to when everything else feels overwhelming.

That’s part of why XO Diva D has always meant so much to me. If there’s one thing I hope you take away from this episode, it’s that you can be a work in progress and still be worthy of good things.

You don’t need to have your dream job, the perfect relationship, a million followers, or every part of your life figured out to be proud of how far you’ve come.

And just because you’re struggling today doesn’t mean you’ll feel this way forever. I’m still learning that myself, and I definitely don’t have all the answers. But I think there’s something really powerful about being able to admit that.

As I start this new chapter, I’m excited to bring you more celebrity interviews, pop culture conversations, and personal episodes that hopefully make you laugh, think, and feel a little more understood.

To everyone who’s supported XO Diva D over the years, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Whether you’ve been here since I started my blog or you’re just discovering it now, I’m so grateful you’re here.

Season 2 is officially underway, and I can’t wait to see where we go from here! A Work in Progress: Mental Health, Self-Worth & Starting Over is available now on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and YouTube!

I hope you’ll give it a listen, and if something I shared resonates with you, I’d love to hear from you.

Sending you guys so much love, always! 💗
