Slayyyter is continuing an exciting year in her career with the release of her latest single, “i think he’s got a girl,” accompanied by a stunning, self-directed official music video.
Released via RECORDS / Columbia Records, the new track arrives as the pop star prepares to expand the world of her critically acclaimed third studio album, WOR$T GIRL IN AMERICA, with a companion project titled wor$t man in america, arriving December 4.
The song explores the emotional complexities of a relationship overshadowed by suspicion, dishonesty and heartbreak. Slayyyter captures the painful realization that someone you love may not be telling you the truth, from unanswered calls and questionable behavior to the growing suspicion that another woman is involved.
It’s a compelling addition to her catalog, showcasing her ability to explore vulnerable subject matter while maintaining the distinct artistic identity that has made her one of pop music’s most exciting names.
SLAYYYTER TAKES CREATIVE CONTROL OF THE OFFICIAL MUSIC VIDEO
Alongside the single, Slayyyter has unveiled its official music video, which she directed herself.
Looking absolutely gorgeous throughout, the singer once again demonstrates how important visual storytelling is to her artistry. Her creative direction has consistently been a defining part of her music, with fashion, imagery and performance all contributing to the worlds she creates around each release.
The fact that Slayyyter directed the video herself makes this release particularly exciting, giving fans another look at her vision not only as a recording artist but also as a filmmaker and visual creative.
With “i think he’s got a girl,” she continues to build on that creative identity while introducing another chapter of the story she’s been telling through her music.
‘WOR$T MAN IN AMERICA’ ARRIVES DECEMBER 4
The new single follows Slayyyter’s announcement of wor$t man in america, a nine-track companion album described as the “brother” to WOR$T GIRL IN AMERICA, which arrived earlier this spring.
Rather than moving on from the era entirely, Slayyyter is expanding its world, giving listeners another perspective on the themes and creative direction established by her third studio album.
According to the official pre-order description, the upcoming release will feature nine new tracks and will also be available as a limited-edition double vinyl package combining both WOR$T GIRL IN AMERICA and wor$t man in america.
It’s an exciting approach to the project, allowing the two albums to exist as connected pieces of a larger artistic vision.
For an artist who’s consistently embraced experimentation and creative evolution, the decision to expand an existing album into a companion release feels particularly fitting.
ANOTHER EXCITING CHAPTER FOR SLAYYYTER
From her music to her visuals, Slayyyter continues to establish herself as an artist with a clear creative identity and a willingness to explore new directions.
With a critically acclaimed album already released this year, another full project arriving in December and a self-directed music video accompanying her latest single, she’s showing no signs of slowing down.
“i think he’s got a girl” is available now on streaming platforms, alongside its official music video.
