Finding hair and body products that actually work shouldn’t be complicated. You want something that looks good on your bathroom counter, feels good to use and, most importantly, does what it says it’s going to do.

That’s where Fresh Wolf comes in! Founded in 2019 by Jack and Henry Barlow, the line was created with a focus on elevated grooming essentials and high-quality hair and body care.

While the brand was originally developed to fill a need in the men’s grooming space, the products aren’t just for men, they’re made for anyone looking to upgrade their routine. Even Jack and Henry’s mom, The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Lisa Barlow, is known to use the products herself.

Fresh Wolf recently sent me its collection to try, and after putting the products to the test, there’s already a few that’ve earned a permanent spot in my routine.

The lineup covers pretty much all of the essentials, including Sleek Styling Gel, Hair Wax, Pomade, Body Wash, Shampoo and Conditioner. But let’s start with my personal favorite: the Hair Wax.

I’ve tried plenty of styling products where you either need way too much to get any real hold or you’re left scrubbing that gross, sticky feeling off your hands afterward. Fresh Wolf’s Hair Wax seriously impressed me because the hold is incredible without needing a ton of product.

A little goes a long way, my hair actually stays where I want it, and my hands aren’t left feeling covered in glue afterward. That’s a major win.

The Shampoo also came at the perfect time for me because I recently colored my hair. Its formula includes quinoa and turmeric to help repair structural damage and reduce breakage, something that can be especially helpful when your hair has been colored or processed.

What I also appreciate about Fresh Wolf is that the brand doesn’t overwhelm you with a million products. It’s a focused collection of everyday essentials designed to bring a more elevated feel to your hair and body routine without making things complicated.

GREAT PRODUCTS WITH AN EVEN GREATER PURPOSE

As much as I’ve enjoyed trying the collection, one of my favorite things about Fresh Wolf actually has nothing to do with what’s inside the bottles. For every unit sold, Fresh Wolf gives a bottle to a child in the foster care system.

It’s a mission that makes supporting the brand mean a little more. Something as simple as buying the shampoo, body wash or styling product you were already looking for can also help provide a product to a child in foster care… that’s the kind of purpose to see behind a brand.

Fresh Wolf launched because Jack and Henry saw an opportunity to create better, more structured hair and body products, and the collection has continued to grow since. With more expansions on the way, it’s definitely a brand worth keeping on your radar.
