Emmy Rossum is back on TV this summer, and her new Hulu series Furious is bringing a dark, high-stakes story with it.
The 8-episode crime thriller, created by Elizabeth Meriwether, follows FBI agent Alice Black, played by Rossum, as she hunts down a mysterious female serial killer portrayed by Lola Petticrew. As the two women move closer to each other, their lives begin to intertwine, blurring the line between justice, morality, and obsession.
Emmy stars alongside Lola Petticrew, Scoot McNairy, Quincy Tyler Bernstine, and Jake Lacy, giving the series a strong ensemble to back up its cat-and-mouse premise. The show leans into a tense, psychological tone, with Rossum’s character working to catch a killer whose path is more calculated than it first appears.
With Meriwether steering the project, Furious is positioned as a sharp new addition to Hulu’s lineup. The series premieres with its first three episodes on July 27th, 2026, followed by weekly drops every Monday through the finale on August 31st.
If the trailer is any indication, Furious is set to be one of Hulu’s most gripping summer releases.
