Cody Simpson may be sidelined with a serious double injury, but he’s proving that nothing can keep him away from music.
The singer-songwriter is set to release his brand-new single, Fluent, tomorrow, and fans will also be treated to an accompanying music video even after his recent setback.
Sharing the news with fans, Cody remained optimistic about what’s ahead. “The album and live shows have to wait, but I’ve got some work to share while I’m down for the count. You can’t hold me down! I’ll be back stronger. FYI, we still shot the music video…”
While his upcoming album and live performances have been put on pause as he recovers, it’s clear Cody isn’t slowing down creatively.
Earlier this year, he officially returned to music with the releases of Baby Blue and When It Comes to Loving You. Both tracks were co-written by Cody, produced by Harrison Borts, and arrived alongside cinematic music videos that marked the beginning of an exciting new era.
