After years of keeping a relatively low profile, Ethan Dolan and Grayson Dolan are back… at least for now.
The beloved duo surprised fans this week by releasing a brand-new short film titled The Double Take, marking their first upload to YouTube in five years. Even better? The video arrived on a Tuesday, staying true to the tradition that longtime fans know and love.
Needless to say, the internet completely lost it. Within minutes, the comments section was overflowing with excitement from fans who never thought they’d see another Dolan Twins upload.
“Is this what getting an ‘I miss you’ text from your ex feels like?” Another fan joked,“The title is genius simply cause I really did do a double take when I saw this notification haha.”
Even YouTube joined in on the excitement, commenting, “new dolan twins video in 2026??” The overwhelming response proves one thing: even after five years away from the platform, the Dolan Twins’ fanbase hasn’t gone anywhere. If anything, people seem just as excited to see Ethan and Grayson as they were during their YouTube heyday.
Now the question… is this the beginning of a full-fledged comeback, or just a one-time creative project? Either way, it’s safe to say fans will be keeping their notifications turned on.
