Miley Cyrus has officially joined one of pop culture’s most iconic clubs!
Mattel has unveiled a brand-new Barbie Signature doll inspired by the Grammy-winning icon, celebrating her fearless creativity, unmistakable style, and lasting impact on music and pop culture.
The collectible doll is modeled after one of Miley’s standout looks from her visual album and film, Something Beautiful, featuring a head-to-toe faux leather ensemble that perfectly captures the bold aesthetic of her latest era.
The biker-inspired outfit includes a faux leather bralette, matching narrow-leg pants, a belted jacket with an oversized hood, pointed black heels, and a pair of signature sunglasses that can be worn over the doll’s eyes or perched on top of her highlighted brunette hair. To complete the look, Barbie even comes with a microphone in hand, ready to take the stage.
Mattel says the doll celebrates the “transformative sound and cultural footprint” Miley has made throughout her career as a musician, actress, and advocate for self-expression.
“From child actor to vocal superstar, Miley Cyrus has been in the spotlight for most of her life and knows how to own it,” the company shared. “Our latest Barbie doll is a tribute to this award-winning style icon, known for her genre-blending songs and soulful lyrics.”
For Miley, seeing the finished product was a surreal moment. “Seeing my Barbie for the first time is a dream come true,” she said in a statement. She also revealed that every little detail mattered throughout the design process.
“We spent so much time really digging into the details. That’s something that wasn’t just important to me in designing the Barbie, but it’s also very important to my own creativity and the way that I represent myself.”
The new release joins Barbie’s growing lineup honoring influential women who have shaped entertainment, fashion, and culture, and Miley is certainly a fitting addition.
