Zara Larsson is keeping the Midnight Sun era glowing, and she’s not going alone this time! The pop star just announced her upcoming project Midnight Sun: Girls Trip, set for release on May 1st via Epic Records/Sommer House, and it’s already shaping up to be one of the most intriguing pop rollouts of the season.
The announcement arrived right after her surprise appearance during PinkPantheress’ star-studded Coachella Weekend 2 set, where Zara joined her on stage to perform a fresh version of “Midnight Sun.”
Alongside the reveal, Zara dropped the vibrant artwork for Midnight Sun: Girls Trip, featuring herself perched on top of a pink sexy ride, a visual that perfectly matches the project’s carefree, high-energy vibe. Fans can already pre-order the CD now.
While details about the project remain under wraps, Zara has been fueling speculation all week with a series of cryptic social posts. In one image, she holds up a “Girls Trip” map scattered with 12 flower icons across the globe, leading fans to theorize that each marker could represent a featured artist.
In another post, she shared snapshots of a colorful, sticker-covered suitcase packed with bold outfits and accessories, captioning it, “Packed and ready for my Girls Trip.”
With momentum at an all-time high and a feature-packed rollout on the way, Midnight Sun: Girls Trip is already looking like the soundtrack to the upcoming season.
