Dove is keeping fans FED, that’s for sure!
Dove Cameron has released not one, but TWO, new singles just days after teasing fans that new music was on the way. The twenty-three-year-old actress and singer released ‘Bloodshot,’ and ‘Waste,’ last Friday and fans were in a major frenzy over the new material.
Speaking on the tracks to Teen Vogue, Dove revealed that both songs represent a different sides of her. “These songs highlight two very different sides of me which I thought was important in my new music. I have been growing and changing a lot over the past few months and I needed my music to reflect that. It’s not only representative of who I am, but it also allows my fans to connect to the music more,”
The gem also explained the sound, production, and direction of the two singles to the magazine too! “‘Waste’ is one of my all-time favorites; it is so intense and sexy. It is about an all-consuming love,” she says.
“‘Bloodshot’ is more intimate and vulnerable; it’s about loss, whatever form that takes for you, whether that’s a breakup, a friendship that ended, or a death. A universal feeling, loss, that I’m always trying to put it into words. One that I think we need to talk about more.”
While promoting the new music, Dove also hit up The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon to discuss the singles and gave a KILLER impression of the Minions that will make you smile and laugh your ass off.
