From Sundance to the big screen, Emma is back!

Emma Roberts is gearing up for an exciting 2019 with her return to American Horror Story and the premiere of her new film, ‘Paradise Hills.’ The film, directed by Alice Waddington, premiered at the 2019 Sundance Film Festival back in February and is now getting ready to make its way to the US for it’s theater debut.

Described as a “science-fantasy,” the story follows Uma (Emma Roberts) who one day wakes up on an isolated island at a facility, Paradise Hills, where high-class families send their daughters to become the best versions of themselves.

The synopsis states; “The facility is run by the mysterious Duchess (Milla Jovovich) where calibrated treatments including etiquette classes, vocal lessons, beauty treatments, gymnastics and restricted diets, revolve all physical and emotional shortcomings within two months.”

It continues, “the outspoken Uma finds solace and friendship in other Paradise Hills residents — Chloe (Danielle McDonald), Yu (Awkwafina) and Mexican popstar Amarna (Eiza Gonzalez). Uma soon realizes that lurking behind all this beauty is a sinister secret. It’s a race against the clock as Uma and her friends try to escape Paradise Hills before it consumes them all.”

What an interesting story line, right?! Check out the official trailer below, and don’t miss the premiere of the film when it hits theaters on November 1st.
