An entire look just using FLOWER Beauty!

I wanted to fill you guys in on what I’ve been using for makeup lately since it’s been quite some time since I last did. I don’t wear makeup often, but when I do I like to make sure I’m using what works for my skin and won’t cause any break outs or irritation to it.

Drew Barrymore is one of my favorite people in the industry, so when I discovered her line a few years back; I knew it’d be as great as she is. I’ve never really done a full look just using her products, but I decided to a few weeks back when I had a concert to go to.

This in NO WAY is a sponsored or payed ad, but rather just something I thought I’d share with you since I don’t think the company gets the recognition it deserves. Like I said before, I have wicked sensitive and acne prone skin… so I’m super careful what I use and put onto my face.

I’m not a makeup expert or artist or anything like that, but I do have a way of doing things that work for me. I think that so many people are so scared to really experiment with makeup because they think they’re “not doing it the right way,” but listen; there’s no right or wrong way… it’s all about how YOU feel and how YOU do it.

Just because you see the incredibly talented makeup artists and stuff online doesn’t mean that you can’t create a just as bad ass look as them! I once heard this saying that “makeup isn’t meant to hide things; it’s meant to brighten things and bring out even more beauty then you already have.”

I wanted to give an honest review on FLOWER Beauty, but also give you guys some insight on how I do makeup for this, and what I’ll be doing it like in the future. Keep reading and let me know what you think!

HOW I DID THIS LOOK:

Before I did any makeup, I started out with a FLOWER face mask. I tend to be oily and dry, so I took one of the ‘Power Up!’ masks out of my fridge and let it sit on my skin for about 10 minutes or so to give me a nice hydrated glow.

When my mask was done, I went in with their Pore-Minimizing Primer and applied it to my entire face. Once I finished applying the primer, I used Drew’s favorite products, the Supernova Skin Elixir, and also applied it to my entire face and neck.

Next it was time for concealer and foundation! While they’re a few different types of foundations they offer, I stuck with the Light Illusion Foundation and Concealer. One of the things I love about these two products specifically is that they’re very lightweight and don’t appear cakey or cracky at all.

Once I was done with that process, I took my handy-dandy Lift & Sculpt Palette to contour. I normally go with a creme contour, but the application of this powder contour was so easy and went on smooth with no struggle.

Eyebrow time! I took the Bubble Brow Tinted Wax and applied it to my eyebrows to make them look a bit more fuller. I’m super picky when it comes to my eyebrows, but this product is water activated and is soooo easy and cool to use.

Next? Eyes! I went in with my personal favorite eyeshadow palette, Sugar Rush, and used the lightest shade to sort of prime my eyes, and then went in with the sparkly pink to create a not-so dramatic eye.

I tend to do eyeshadow before mascara, so after I went in with the new (and not yet released on their site) Warrior Princess Mascara to finish them up. Let me just say- this is my FAVORITE mascara (sorry Too Faced) because it’s not chunky and doesn’t fuck everything up. This product will be a new must-have for me and I’ll be sure to post once it’s officially out since I found just one at Walmart.

Once I was done with my eyes, I went in for a quick Bronze cover with the new Sunrise Bronzer to go for a more tanner look. As you can see in the photo, it made me look SO tan and I was in love.

After bronzing, I went in with the Petal Pout Lip Liner to make my lips look fuller and then applied the Petal Pout Lip Mask to create a nude lip. It’s so cool because I’m not a huge fan of lipstick, but their lip mask lets you get a hint of color while hydrating your lips.

Time to finish it up! Once I was done, I went in with the Seal The Deal Setting Spray and applied it to my entire face to set everything and make sure that I was ready to go. One thing I like most about the spray is that it’s not sticky and is super absorbing, but also hydrating to the point that it feels cool.

The concert I went to, Lennon Stella, had the meet and greet after the show; so I was super scared that my makeup would be all messy and/or be oily and stuff. But guess what? EVERYTHING STAYED AND IT LOOKED THE SAME! I swear that I’ve never had makeup that’ll last as long as this look did and I am SO happy with how everything turned out.

I can tell you for a fact that I’ll be using these products for all and any events I have planned, and next time I’ll be sure to do an IG live or stories so you can see exactly how I use everything, etc.

Take a peek at a few more pictures below and be sure to check out FLOWER Beauty. You can find out what stores closest to you have it OR find even more on their official website. I know you guys will love it as much as I do, so let me know what you think!
