Charlie Puth took to Twitter last week to announce some “good and bad news” to his fans. The singer has pushed his forthcoming album that was supposed to be out this month back, looking at a new release date of May 11th.

Charlie tweeted “So I have good news and bad news. The bad news is that I have to push the album release date. I’m producing this album all myself and with that comes a lot of work, and in my opinion, the album is not perfect yet. However, it will still come out this year, and soon.” He then followed with “But to make it up to all of you, here’s the good news. I’m putting out a song I did with Boys II Men tomorrow. And it’s probably one of my favorite songs I’ve ever written. Love you guys and thank you for understanding.”

What a bummer that the new LP was pushed back, but we gotta give him the time he needs to finish it perfectly! The new song can be purchased here, while the album can now be pre-ordered here.
