If you’ve been missing Heated Rivalry, you’re in luck because the hit hockey romance is officially heading to movie theaters!
Nearly a year after the series first premiered in the United States, all six episodes are coming to approximately 650 theaters nationwide for a special limited theatrical run from November 6 through November 30.
And honestly, watching Shane and Ilya’s love story unfold on the big screen with a theater full of fans? That’s going to be quite the experience!

Based on the bestselling novels by Rachel Reid, Heated Rivalry follows rival professional hockey players Shane Hollander (Hudson Williams) and Ilya Rozanov (Connor Storrie) as their intense rivalry turns into a secret romance.
The series quickly became a global phenomenon, turning Williams and Storrie into two of Hollywood’s most talked-about rising stars.
Written and directed by Jacob Tierney, the show also stars François Arnaud, Robbie G.K., Christina Chang, Ksenia Daniela Kharlamova, Sophie Nélisse and Dylan Walsh.
Beyond the romance, Heated Rivalry has connected with audiences through its exploration of identity, vulnerability, love and the pressure of hiding who you truly are.
And now fans will have the opportunity to experience those emotional moments together in theaters!
HERE’S HOW THE THEATRICAL RELEASE WILL WORK!
Regal is distributing the series to approximately 650 theaters nationwide, including participating AMC and Cinemark locations, with screenings at more than 275 Regal theaters across the United States.
Rather than screening the entire season as one long movie, the episodes will be divided into three separate double-feature screenings.
Fans can watch Episodes 1 and 2, “Rookies” and “Olympians,” followed by Episodes 3 and 4, “Hunter” and “Rose,” and finally Episodes 5 and 6, “I’ll Believe in Anything” and “The Cottage.”
Each two-episode screening will cost $9.99, making it possible to revisit the entire first season for $29.97 before applicable fees.
And there’s even more for fans to look forward to! Regal screenings will feature special welcome content from the cast and series creator Jacob Tierney, giving audiences an extra little something before the show begins.
Participating locations will also offer two limited-time themed cocktails, “Summer in Montreal” and “Russians Don’t Blush.”
Because apparently watching Heated Rivalry on the big screen wasn’t exciting enough already!

“When a series connects with audiences the way ‘Heated Rivalry’ has, we look for ways to bring it to the big screen and give fans a reason to experience it together,” said Brooks LeBoeuf, Regal’s senior vice president of U.S. content in a statement.
The theatrical release also gives fans something to celebrate while waiting for the show’s highly anticipated second season, which is currently in production and expected to arrive in 2027.
