Dun dun… dinner is served. If you’ve ever wanted to step inside the world of Law & Order, NBC is giving fans another chance this fall as the Dun Dun Diner officially returns to New York City for two days only.
The immersive pop-up will take over Bill’s Bar & Burger at Rockefeller Center on October 9th and 10th, bringing together Law & Order, food, exclusive merch and plenty of opportunities to live out your detective dreams.
And this year, some pretty iconic New York names are joining the squad. Ess-a-Bagel, Katz’s Deli, Magnolia Bakery and Serendipity3 are all collaborating with the Dun Dun Diner on a specially curated menu inspired by the experience.
Basically, come for the crime drama and stay for the food!
TWO WAYS TO EXPERIENCE THE ‘DUN DUN DINER’
Fans will have the choice between a paid dining experience and a completely free option, but you’ll need a reservation for either.
For $30, the Booth Service Dining experience includes your choice of one of the featured dishes, dessert, Law & Order branded merchandise and interactive touches inspired by the series.
If you’d rather investigate the scene without sitting down for a meal, NBC is also offering free Grab & Go reservations, which include merchandise giveaways and a themed photo opportunity.
The full collaborative menu hasn’t been revealed just yet, so there’s still another piece of evidence we’re waiting to uncover.
Select menu items from the collaboration will also be available at participating partner locations on October 12th and 13th.
HERE’S WHEN RESERVATIONS OPEN
This is the part you’ll want to set an alarm for.
Both paid and free reservations become available THIS Friday, September 18th at 12 p.m. ET and will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
The Dun Dun Diner itself will be open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, October 9 and Saturday, October 10 at 16 W 51st Street in New York City.
The timing couldn’t be better, either. The pop-up arrives immediately after the new seasons of Law & Order and Law & Order: SVU premiere Thursday, October 8th on NBC, with episodes streaming the following day on Peacock.
So you can watch the premieres Thursday night and step into the Law & Order universe yourself on Friday.
