Delvey has been working on her upcoming documentary for quite some time, giving her the opportunity to revisit her story from her own perspective after years of headlines, documentaries, television adaptations and endless opinions about who she is.

This weekend, she revealed that the project just got a whole lot more interesting. “After almost a decade, I finally got back into my old iCloud account,” Delvey shared alongside a series of throwback photos. “Probably should’ve spent less time taking selfies and more time reading the NY penal code, but at least the documentary will now be flush with receipts.”

Honestly? That’s one way to announce you just unlocked a potential goldmine of archival material. The discovery could give Anna’s doc something particularly valuable: photos, videos and other personal material captured during the actual period of her life that the world has spent years dissecting.

And this time, we’re not watching an actress play Anna Delvey, we’re hearing from Anna herself.

It’s no secret that Anna’s become one of the most recognizable figures in modern pop culture, with her story inspiring countless headlines and, most famously, Netflix’s Inventing Anna.

But there’s an obvious difference between having your life interpreted by everyone else and actually getting behind the camera to tell the story yourself.

Now, audiences may finally get the opportunity to see what she wants to say about herself, complete with material that’s been sitting inside a previously inaccessible iCloud account for nearly a decade.

And judging by Anna’s sense of humor about finding it, it’s safe to say she knows exactly how interesting those archives could be. The timing also feels fitting for someone who’s continued finding ways to write new chapters beyond the story that initially made her famous.
