The icon has announced his fourth studio album, “She’s the Best,” is set for release on October 9th. Alongside the album announcement, Troye released its title track, “She’s the Best,” giving fans their first taste of the project.
“My new album ‘She’s the Best’ comes out October 9,” Troye shared to fans on social media yesterday. “This is the album cover, and you can pre-order it now.”
The album follows Troye’s acclaimed 2023 release, Something to Give Each Other, and marks his first project since signing with Interscope. With the title track leading the rollout, it is clear that the next chapter is ready to bring a new level of pop energy.
“She’s the Best” arrives with a stylish new visual directed by Gordon von Steiner, the creative force behind some of Troye’s most memorable recent videos, including “Rush” and “Got Me Started.” The video co-stars Nicole Kidman and follows women navigating everyday life: from working, commuting, socializing, and finding joy, all through a glossy visual world inspired by queer New York in the 1980s.
The song and video serve as a celebration of women in all their forms, blending Troye’s pop sensibility with a loving tribute to the people and communities that have shaped him.
