Nicole Kidman is keeping her heart open, and apparently, she’s also hitting the Ibiza dance floor!
In a candid new cover interview with British Vogue, the Oscar-winning actress reflected on falling in love and getting married young, her love of a late-night rave, and the long-awaited return of Practical Magic.
Looking back on her marriage to Tom Cruise, Kidman recalled being in her early twenties and completely unbothered by warnings that her relationship could impact her career.
“Suddenly I was 22, 23 years old and I had this huge movie star husband,” she said. “But it just seemed completely natural. We just fell madly in love and it was that simple.”
Kidman remembered people cautioning that the marriage would affect her professional life, but she was focused on love—not the outside noise. “I’m like, ‘I don’t care. I’m in love. I want to be married,’” she shared. “Of course I’ll throw my career away. I don’t care.”
The actress also revealed a very relatable, yet somehow completely iconic, way she lets loose while vacationing in Ibiza. Her ideal night begins with dinner at 10:30 p.m., followed by heading to the club at 1 a.m. To enjoy the music without being recognized, Kidman said she sometimes puts on glasses and even wears a small dark wig.
“Then I can just dance,” she explained. “As long as I’m surrounded by people [I take with me], then I’m fine. I need it.”
