Slayyyter has officially kicked off the Australian leg of her WOR$T GIRL IN THE WORLD Tour, bringing her high-gloss pop chaos to Sydney’s Enmore Theatre last night.
The sold-out show marked Slayyyter’s first Australian performance in three years, and the beginning of a major return down under for the pop disruptor.
After a second Sydney date at the Enmore Theatre, she’ll head to Brisbane’s Fortitude Music Hall on Friday, August 14th, before wrapping the Australian run with two 18+ shows at Melbourne’s Forum on Monday, August 17th, and Tuesday, August 18th.
The Australian dates arrive just two weeks after Slayyyter released “brand new chanel$,” the first single from her forthcoming project, WOR$T MAN IN AMERICA. The new release serves as a sequel and companion piece to WOR$T GIRL IN AMERICA, expanding the world of the acclaimed record while giving fans another dose of the dramatic, euphoric pop sound she does best.
Alongside the single, Slayyyter unveiled a self-directed music video that brings the track’s glamorous and emotionally charged universe to life. Fans have already been praising “brand new chanel$,” with one listener summing it up perfectly: “This song encompasses everything I love about Slayyyter and her career: soaring vocals, punchy beats, and fun aesthetics.”
With every Australian show currently sold out, fans hoping to catch Slayyyter live can join the waitlist in case additional tickets become available.
