Charli xcx took over Outside Lands in San Francisco on Friday night, delivering a massive headline performance that fans will be talking about long after festival weekend is over.

Taking the stage at Golden Gate Park, Charli brought the energy from the very first song, opening with “Rock Music” before tearing through a 23-song set packed with new tracks, fan favorites, and full-scale pop chaos. The set featured hits including “Apple,” “Wink Wink,” “Card Declined,” “Girl, So Confusing,” “Club Classics,” “360,” “Sympathy Is a Knife,” “Von Dutch,” and “Guess.”

The pop icon also gave the crowd plenty of party moments, including “365,” “Party 4 U,” and “Pink Diamond,” while showcasing songs from her latest era such as “Camera,” “2007,” “SS26,” and “No One Lasts Forever.”

Between the dramatic visuals, high-fashion energy, choreography, and a set built for the festival’s biggest stage, Charli proved exactly why she remains one of the most exciting performers in pop.

And as if her own set wasn’t enough, Charli made another unforgettable Outside Lands appearance the following night. During The Strokes’ Saturday headlining set, she surprised the crowd by joining the band onstage for a performance of “Take It or Leave It.” The unexpected crossover instantly became one of the weekend’s most talked-about moments.

Charli’s Outside Lands takeover comes just ahead of her 2026 Music, Fashion, Film Tour, which begins September 11th in Philadelphia. The arena run includes stops in Brooklyn, Toronto, Boston, Washington, D.C., Atlanta, San Diego, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and more, with festival appearances at Reading, Leeds, and Austin City Limits also on the calendar.
