Joe Jonas is officially stepping into the red chair! NBC has announced that The Voice is launching a celebrity spinoff, The Voice: Celebrity, set to premiere in spring 2027, and Joe will join the panel as a coach alongside Queen Latifah and country star Riley Green.
Keke Palmer will host the new iteration of the singing competition, taking over hosting duties from Carson Daly for this special season.
The celebrity edition will feature a mix of actors, musicians, athletes, comedians, reality TV stars and influencers showing off their vocal talent. The format also includes a few fresh twists: contestants will go through a “Voice boot camp” as they prep for their blind auditions, gather in a “VIP room” to watch other performances, and rehearse and strategize in a workroom environment ahead of the battle rounds.
For Joe, this isn’t his first time in a coaching role. He previously served as a coach on the Australian version of The Voice and has been a mentor on the U.S. version in the past. Now, he’s making his full U.S. coaching debut, joining Queen Latifah and Riley Green, who will return after their Season 30 run.
The full lineup of celebrity singers will be announced closer to the show’s premiere date, slated for sometime in 2027!
