Hardcastle have been quiet for a while, but that silence is almost over. The alternative rock trio are set to return with “Eyes,” their first new single in over two years, and fans can pre-save the track now ahead of its Friday release.
“Eyes” marks the start of a new, fully independent chapter for the band, with Graham Laderman (vocals/guitar), Raul “Perro” Murillo (bass), and Aram Behshid (drums) writing and producing the song themselves. Early teases describe it as a lean, urgent slice of alt-rock built around a riff Laderman couldn’t shake and a chorus about the feeling of finally waking up again.
The band’s journey to this point has been anything but linear. After early breakout streams in Nashville, a relocation to Los Angeles, and a run inside a major-label development deal, Hardcastle chose to walk away and bet on themselves. “Eyes” is the first payoff from that decision, and the band has already been testing pieces of it live in Los Angeles ahead of the official drop.
