Steven Spielberg is heading back into blockbuster mode with Disclosure Day, and the film’s final trailer is now here ahead of its June 12th release.
Already one of the most anticipated movies of 2026, the sci-fi thriller brings together Spielberg’s signature sense of wonder and paranoia with a story about extraterrestrial life, secrecy, and a race to expose the truth before it’s buried for good.
Written by David Koepp from a story by Spielberg, the film follows a global government conspiracy tied to a 79-year cover-up of alien life. When a whistleblower steals classified files that could change everything, a TV meteorologist and an alien-life believer team up to reveal what’s really been hidden from the world.
The film asks a chilling question in the process: “If you found out we weren’t alone, if someone showed you, proved it to you, would that frighten you?”
The cast only adds to the hype. Emily Blunt, Josh O’Connor, Colin Firth, Eve Hewson, and Colman Domingo lead the ensemble, giving the project serious star power to match its high-concept premise.
With Spielberg at the helm and a suspense-heavy storyline built for big-screen viewing, Disclosure Day is shaping up to be one of the must-see theatrical events of the summer.
