Drake may be dominating the charts with a massive triple-album rollout, but he’s also earning major points for one very sweet surprise.
In the midst of the release of ICEMAN, Maid of Honour, and Habibti, a combined 43-track drop loaded with collaborations from PARTYNEXTDOOR, Sexyy Red, Loe Shimmy, Central Cee, Popcaan, Stunna Sandy, Iconic Savvy, Future, 21 Savage, and Molly Santana, the superstar took time out to give back in a major way.
The Toronto icon surprised Randy, better known online as @NYFlavaaa, and his family in Buffalo, New York with a brand-new Escalade, instantly turning an already viral internet family into the center of a once-in-a-lifetime moment.
Randy and his daughter have been making waves with their car singalong videos, often filming themselves vibing to Drake records like they were soundtrack staples from every era of his career.
Drake didn’t just send a gift and keep it moving, either. He linked up with the whole family for one of their signature videos, jumped into the backseat, picked up Randy’s daughter from school, and sang “Janice STFU” with them in the new Escalade he gifted them. It was a full-circle moment that felt equal parts hilarious, heartfelt, and genuinely unforgettable.
The gesture comes as Drake’s surprise triple-album release continues to rewrite the record books. The projects reportedly racked up more than 250 million streams on day one, with ICEMAN posting the biggest album debut of 2026. Drake also set Spotify’s record for the most-streamed artist in a single day, while “Make Them Cry” shot to No. 1 on the global Spotify chart.
Across the board, the drop has been a historic streaming takeover, but the Buffalo surprise showed there’s still room for humanity in the middle of a record-breaking run.
