Blake Lively has been one of my favorite actresses since I was in middle school, but now she just jumped up even higher on that list. At the premiere of her new film, “It Ends With Us,” Blake stunned the red carpet in the same dress Britney Spears wore at the Versace’s Milan Fashion Show in 2002.
I’m not talking about an identical dress here, we’re talking the actual dress Britney wore herself twenty-two years ago. Talk about a piece of history! Speaking exclusively to People, Blake shared “It is Britney’s actual dress. It should be in the Smithsonian or the Met. But it’s on me. I feel so lucky!,” she said.
Taking to Instagram just hours before slaying the red carpet, Blake said “the ultimate queen who made us all want to sparkle and write and share our stories.” Lively wrote.
“Britney, us millennials all have a story of a moment, or of years that you made us want to shine and inspire awe, with strength, and joy and immensely hard work,” she shared. “Thank you for your example and your contribution to women telling their stories.”

In other exciting news, Blake released her new haircare line, “Blake Brown,” which is now available online at the official website and in-stores/online at Target. The line features a collection of shampoo’s, hair masks, and styling care; with more products to be released soon.
Be sure to catch Blake’s new film, “It Ends With Us,” in theatres starting tomorrow, August 9th. You can also purchase products from Blake’s new collection here!
