Let’s go girls! Shania Twain is gearing up for the release of her new album, “Queen of Me,” which drops February 3rd, but that’s not all the superstar shared with fans today. After almost five years since she toured, fans will will get to see the best-selling female country artist of all time as she brings her Queen of Me Tour around the globe next year. This is Shania’s sixth studio album which comes after her 2017 return with “Now.”
Taking to social media to announce the two big surprises, Shania says “These days, I’m feeling very comfortable in my own skin – and I think this album reflects that musically. Life is short and I want to be uplifted, colorful, unapologetic and empowered.” She continued, ” I want to carry a clear message, particularly as a woman, to always remember my power and I hope the songs are a reminder to you, of that same power inside you,” she said.
The 2023 tour will kick off April 28th, 2023 in Spokane, WA and make its way throughout the US, Canada, and Europe throughout the summer before concluding in fall. Names such as Breland, Robyn Ottolini, Priscilla Block, Kelsea Ballerini, Lindsay Ell, Hailey Whitters, and Mickey Guyton will also be hitting the road with Shania at select cities on the tour.
Live Nation, who will produce the upcoming tour, partnered with Shania to donate $1 from each ticket sale to SKC (Shania Kids Can); which was established by Shania in 2010 that ‘provides services that promote positive change in children’s lives in time of crises and economic hardship.’ Tickets go on sale starting Friday, November 4th at 10AM local time. Citi cardmembers will have exclusive access to presale tickets starting Tuesday, November 1st until Thursday, November 3rd before they go on sale to the general public.
