Last week, Debby Ryan took to her social channels to announce the exciting news that ‘Insatiable‘ got picked up for a season two! The series will be returning to Netflix in 2019 and will most likely pick up following the insane season one finale.
The show is no stranger to controversy, especially since it received an incredibly large amount of criticism before even airing this summer. While the cast, crew, and the millions of fans watching defending the show, Debby Ryan also spoke on the backlash multiple times. Following the announcement of season two, Debby said “We’re not in the business of fat shaming. We’re out to turn a sharp eye on broken, harmful systems that equate thinness with worth.”
