Coachella 2026 may have only just gotten underway, but Weekend One already delivered some of the festival’s most unforgettable performances thanks to Slayyyter, Sabrina Carpenter, and Addison Rae.
Each artist brought a totally different energy to the desert, but together they helped define the weekend as a major win for bold pop girls with big visions, sharp aesthetics, and undeniable star power.
Slayyyter kicked things off on day one with a packed Mojave Stage set that felt like a real arrival moment. The crowd was so massive it was practically spilling beyond capacity, and her forty-five-minute performance doubled as a first glimpse at the next chapter of her WOR$T GIRL IN AMERICA era.
She leaned all the way into the project, performing fan favorites like “CANNIBALISM!,” “OLD TECHNOLOGY,” “YES GODDD,” “I’M ACTUALLY KINDA FAMOUS,” and “BRITTANY MURPHY,” while also previewing her fall 2026 tour.
With a North American run set for September and international dates to follow in Europe and the U.K., this Coachella set felt like the beginning of a much bigger rollout.
Later on Friday, Sabrina Carpenter took over the main stage and delivered what was easily one of the most dazzling Coachella sets of the weekend. From the charisma to the choreography to the visuals and vocals, every part of the performance was executed with the kind of precision that makes a pop headliner feel truly next level.
Songs like “House Tour,” “Taste,” “Please Please Please,” “Bed Chem,” “Espresso,” and “Tears” all hit hard, while the interludes packed with pre-recorded and live moments from Sam Elliott, Susan Sarandon, Corey Fogelmanis, Will Ferrell, and a voice-only Samuel L. Jackson appearance during “Juno,” made the whole set feel even more cinematic and unmistakably Sabrina.
Then on Saturday afternoon, Addison Rae stepped into the spotlight and delivered a performance that was playful, glossy, and totally self-assured. Opening with a killer entrance and “Diet Pepsi,” she gave the festival a colorful, flirtatious set that felt completely in sync with her own style.
Addison has always had a gift for being charming without trying too hard, and that came through in a set that included “Money Is Everything,” her “Von Dutch Remix” feature with Charli XCX, “I Got It Bad,” “Headphones On,” and “Fame Is A Gun.” It was hot, fun, and unmistakably her.
What made Weekend One so exciting was not just that these women showed up, but that they each showed out in a way that felt specific to who they are right now. Slayyyter brought the chaos and the cult-pop energy, Sabrina delivered a main-stage masterclass, and Addison proved she can command a festival crowd with style and confidence. Together, they turned Coachella into a celebration of pop ambition at its most exciting.
And with day three happening today and Weekend Two kicking off again next Friday, Coachella 2026 is already shaping up to be one of the festival’s most memorable years in recent memory… thanks to the ladies of course 😉
