Jack Harlow is officially in album mode again, and this next chapter already feels personal. The rapper has begun teasing his new project, Monica, dropping a sleek teaser clip where, in true Jack fashion, he’s serving effortless fits and unbothered confidence while hinting at what’s coming sonically.
According to a press release, the album was written over the past year at the legendary Electric Lady Studios in New York City, shortly after Jack relocated to the city. Trading Louisville for the Big Apple, he’s been locked in, building a project that sounds like a reflection of this new phase of his life: more grown, more focused, and rooted in a place with serious music history in its walls.
The album follows Jackman, his April 2023 release that landed in the top 10 on the Billboard 200 (No. 8) and debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Rap Albums chart. That record leaned into tighter bars and a more stripped-back approach, and fans are eager to see how Monica expands on that momentum, whether he leans further into introspection, flexes, or a little of both.
Physicals are already underway: vinyl and CD pre-orders are live now on Jack’s official website, giving fans the chance to lock in their copies ahead of time and add Monica to their shelves the moment it drops.
“Monica. My new album. Available everywhere on my birthday, March 13th,” Jack announced on socials, turning release day into a full-on celebration. New music, new era, birthday energy… Jack Harlow clearly plans to make March 13th a holiday!
