Apple TV is leaning all the way into prestige, twisty drama next month with “Imperfect Women,” a limited series adaptation of Araminta Hall’s novel of the same name, premiering March 18th.

Yesterday’s newly released trailer teases a glossy, psychological thriller that asks how well you really know the people you’ve loved for decades. Created for television and showrun by Annie Weisman, the series brings together a stacked cast: Kerry Washington, Elisabeth Moss, Kate Mara, Joel Kinnaman, and more, all circling one devastating crime.

The core setup is simple but sinister: after a murder shatters the lives of three friends, their decades-long bond is tested as an investigation unspools shocking truths hiding just under the surface. Expect shifting loyalties, unreliable memories, and the kind of slow-burn tension fans of shows like Big Little Lies and Sharp Objects eat up.

Apple TV will drop the first two episodes on Wednesday, March 18th, with new episodes arriving every Wednesday through April 29th, for a total of eight episodes in the limited series. That weekly rollout means plenty of time for theories, group chats, and “who do you believe?” discourse between drops.

With this cast, this premise, and a book already beloved in the thriller space, Imperfect Women is lining up to be Apple TV’s next buzzy must-watch. Watch the full trailer below!
