Reese Witherspoon’s Elle prequel is officially happening, and it’s already giving iconic energy before a single episode has dropped!
The upcoming series, simply titled Elle, will explore the teenage years of Elle Woods and dig into the experiences that shaped the pink‑powered legend fans first met 25 years ago.
The show stars Lexi Minetree as young Elle, with a supporting cast that includes Gabrielle Policano, Jacob Moskovitz, Chandler Kinney, and Zac Looker, plus Jessica Belkin, Logan Shroyer, Amy Pietz, Matt Ober, Chloe Wepper, David Burtka, Brad Harder, Kayla Maisonet, Lisa Yamada, and James Van Der Beek.
Amazon Prime Video announced that Elle Season 1 will premiere on July 1st, and the wild part is that the series has already been renewed for a second season. Talk about confidence!
Reese shared the news on Instagram, writing, “Thrilled to announce that ELLE is coming to @PrimeVideo July 1 – and Season 2 is already in the works!
