Channing Tatum is finally bringing the Magic Mike universe to New York, and it’s not just a show, it’s a full experience!

Inspired by the hit film series, the 90‑minute immersive stage event officially opens on October 22nd and is built to feel less like sitting in a theater and more like stepping inside the Magic Mike fantasy in real time. The vibe is part party, part spectacle, very “you will leave a different person than you walked in.”

The show is said to mix high‑level dance, wild athleticism, acrobatics, comedy, and music, all tied together with a focus on confidence, celebration, and empowerment rather than just shock value. It’s the kind of production that wants the audience to feel hyped about themselves, not just the cast onstage.

Channing has discussed how this whole thing began a decade ago as a wild idea, and seeing it hit New York after runs in places like Vegas and London feels like a full-circle moment for the franchise.

In a statement, he explained that when they were first building the concept, they literally hit the streets of New York and set up a secret confession booth in Midtown so he could listen to women talk about what they really want… not just from a show, but from life.

Those conversations helped shape the heart of Magic Mike Live as it grew around the world over the last ten years. Now, with years of experience and a creative team packed with strong, brilliant women, the production is coming back to the city where the idea was born, but bigger, smarter, and bolder.

The New York run also comes with a dedicated lounge space that’ll be open every night for pre and post‑show hangs. It’s designed as a place to drink, flirt, decompress, and stretch out the night a little longer, which matches the whole “night out, not just a ticket” energy. Think of it as the Magic Mike universe spilling out of the theater and into a bar you are never quite ready to leave.

Onstage, the cast is led by Sebastian Melo Taivera as Mike, joined by an ensemble that includes Charles Bartley, Kayla Brenda, Nate Bryan, Daniel Blessing, John Carlos Cabrera, Jayson Collantes, Shane Davis, Alexandre Deakin, Sebastian Gonzalez, Jhan Mena, Casey Sheehan, Ellena Takos, Marcus Vrondas, and Josh Williams.

Performances run Wednesday-Monday at 7:30PM, with extra 10PM shows on Fridays and Saturdays and 5PM matinees on Saturdays and Sundays.

Tickets start at low as $59, with VIP options that stack on things like upgraded seating, curated cocktails, lounge access, meet and greets, and personal concierge treatment for anyone who wants the full main‑character package.
