After years of waiting, theories, and emotional damage that we are still recovering from, the official trailer for Euphoria season three is finally here, and now we officially have a premiere date!

HBO confirmed that Euphoria season three will begin streaming on April 12th on HBO and HBO Max, marking the show’s long-awaited return with its boldest move yet: a five-year time jump.

The new season follows the characters after high school, picking up their stories deep into adulthood, where the consequences feel heavier and the stakes are no longer theoretical.

The core cast is officially back, including Zendaya, Sydney Sweeney, Hunter Schafer, Jacob Elordi, Eric Dane, Alexa Demie, Maude Apatow, Martha Kelly, Chloe Cherry, Colman Domingo, and Dominic Fike.

Season two left viewers with major cliffhangers. Lexi’s play fractured friendships and exposed secrets, Nate finally turned his father Cal in after uncovering a flash drive, and Rue appeared committed to staying sober as her complicated relationship with Jules found its way back toward something familiar.

Season three wastes no time shaking things up. The trailer reveals Cassie and Nate are now married and living a suburban life that already feels unsettling. Rue is shown living in Mexico, working to pay off her debt to drug dealer Laurie. Jules is attending art school, while Maddy has landed a job at a Hollywood talent agency, stepping into a new kind of power.

The season also expands the Euphoria universe with an absolutely stacked list of newcomers, including Sharon Stone, Rosalía, Trisha Paytas, Natasha Lyonne, Danielle Deadwyler, Eli Roth, and Marshawn Lynch, alongside an extensive supporting cast.

The trailer signals a darker, more mature chapter for the series. These characters are no longer reckless teenagers… they’re adults carrying years of unresolved trauma, bad decisions, and unfinished business.

April 12th cannot come fast enough!
