The Chrisley’s are quietly doing the work, and they deserve far more credit and grace than they’ve been given.
Todd Chrisley has been open about how deeply his time away changed him, and instead of turning inward, he’s turned outward. Since his release, Todd has helped nearly 68 people who were also wrongfully incarcerated gain their freedom, continuing that work through ongoing prison reform and advocacy efforts.
Watching him fight for others who were failed by the same system only reinforces what many of us have believed all along: the Chrisley’s were not villains, they were targeted in a system that doesn’t always get it right.
This work isn’t performative and it isn’t flashy either. It’s consistent, deeply personal, and rooted in lived experience. Todd has spoken candidly about how broken the system can be, and he’s committed to helping others navigate it in ways he wishes had existed sooner. That kind of clarity doesn’t come from guilt. It comes from conviction.

Julie is also stepping into a new chapter, one that feels comforting, grounded, and unmistakably her. Her highly anticipated cooking show begins filming in February, and will feature 26 episodes centered around real, approachable meals.
The series will include weekly staples, specialty dishes, and holiday favorites, all designed with everyday people in mind. Julie has promised fans this won’t be the kind of show that sends you running to six different grocery stores for obscure ingredients. It’s about warmth, simplicity, and feeding people you love without the stress.
Beyond television, Todd and Julie are also working directly with commissaries to advocate for better food access for people currently serving time.
Their focus is on ensuring incarcerated individuals have consistent access to humane, nutritious meals, something they’ve both described as a basic dignity issue. It’s work happening largely behind the scenes, but it has the potential to create real, lasting impact for families navigating an already difficult system.
This chapter isn’t about redemption narratives or rewriting history; it’s about standing firm in who you are, using experience to create change, and showing up where it actually matters. The Chrisley’s never did anything wrong; what they’re doing now only proves the kind of people they’ve always been.
