Pop’s reigning disruptor is back in her filmmaker bag!

Charli XCX just unveiled the official trailer for “The Moment,” her new A24 film that she both stars in and dreamed up… and bestie, it’s chaotic, glossy, ridiculous, meta, and absolutely everything we wanted.

The trailer leans right into Charli’s bratty, hyper-pop universe as she navigates a storm of questionable advice, wild industry characters, and creatively unhinged collaborators determined to “help” her.

Alexander Skarsgård shows up as a hilariously intense performance director, influencers and friends swirl in with their own agendas, and Charli is out here trying to cling to sanity. At the same time, the world around her goes full camp.

Expect satire, fashion, glittery chaos, and a behind-the-curtain peek at fame that only Charli could deliver.

Directed by Aidan Zamiri, “The Moment” is set to premiere at Sundance as part of Charli’s massive film takeover: she has three projects screening this year, before hitting theaters everywhere on January 30th, 2026.
