Searchlight Pictures just dropped the first official trailer for Ready or Not 2: Here I Come, and besties… it looks absolutely unhinged in the best possible way.
Seven years after the original indie horror smash blew everyone away, the iconic team behind it (the Radio Silence directing duo and the original writers) are finally back with a sequel that looks bigger, bloodier, and wilder than ever.
The film picks up literally moments after the carnage of the first movie. Grace, played again by the always-perfect Samara Weaving, has survived the Le Domas family’s murderous wedding night from hell. But in a twist that instantly raises the stakes, she discovers she’s only made it to the next tier of this nightmare game.
Now she’s running, fighting, and trying to survive while also protecting her estranged sister Faith. Four powerful rival families are hunting her for control of the High Seat, which apparently determines who rules everything. It’s giving mythic chaos. It’s giving legendary final girl energy. It’s giving everything.
The cast? Insane. Kathryn Newton, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Shawn Hatosy, Néstor Carbonell, David Cronenberg, Kevin Durand, Olivia Cheng, Varun Saranga, Daniel Beirne, and Elijah Wood. Horror fans are eating!
From the trailer alone, this already feels worth the seven-year wait. It’s frantic, stylish, completely deranged, and so clearly ready to blow the roof off theaters.
Ready or Not 2: Here I Come hits theaters nationwide on April 10th 2026.
